Combining 25 years of experience in small animal veterinary practice, Colin, Helen and their team aim to provide a first class service to both you and your beloved pets.
We have applied for Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons General Practice recognition. This is a sought after accreditation that gives you peace of mind that our practice adheres to strict professional standards.
Colin was brought up in Africa, schooled in the UK, trained as a vet in Edinburgh, married a girl from London, and has made Kent his home.
‘I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't want to be a vet (apart from a short spell wanting to be a pilot!!). I have spent the last 10 years in small animal practice and am currently enrolled on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons’ Advanced Practitioner program.’
Has also devoted her life to the profession. Her time is now spent split between the vocation she loves, their two children and cats.
Whilst Colin will be in the practice day to day, Helen will be more based in the background keeping an eye on him!!
Rachel has been nursing for twenty years, she is a nurse training assessor and clinical coach, she also examines student nurses for the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. She has recently completed her training for The Accreditation Committee for Veterinary Nurse Education - this is a standardisation for nurses across Europe. When she is not examining she has 2 dogs, 2 horses, a tortoise, her daughter and husband to keep her busy!!
Kassie was born in Australia and has had a passion for animals since she was little. She has been a vet nurse for ten years and has been working in the UK for the past 5.
She met her fiancé whilst traveling in Thailand and will be getting married there next year. She has two children and a rescue cat.
Catherine is working towards her qualification as a Veterinary Care Assistant. She has a strong affinity for animals and has wanted to work with them from an early age. This is reflected in her current menagerie, including 3 dogs and a few horses. She is eager to see lots of cuddly animals in the practice!
Declan is working on an apprenticeship to gain his qualification for a Veterinary Care Assistant. He is very excited to be working towards his future ambitions, alongside his welcoming and professional colleagues. He has a Welsh Terrier called Murphy, who has allusions of being an Airedale so keeps him busy!
